I’m so thankful for my grandmother
She dead and gone but it’s because of her I’m able to hold it together
She raised a young boy right
I miss having her in my eyesight
I still drop tears
Because I still miss her after all these years
She was more than my grandmother
Growing up she was my only mother
I feel like our time was robbed
But raising me she did a good goddamn job
Mary Louise Hood
Saying her name sounds so goddamn good
This lady is definitely missed
It hurts so bad I still need to be put on the prayer list
I’m still able to smile because all of the good times
This lady definitely kept me in line
She was born in November
She died in November
This is definitely a month to remember
Mother Mary Louise Hood mother
I’m so thankful for my grandmother

I miss my grandma too and she has been gone many, many years. I am 78, so that should give you an idea.

While the rest of my cousins played in the cellar or in the yard I spent much time in the kitchen with my grandmother. Learned a lot of valuable cooking skills .
